our kyd syd is slowly blossoming into a little lady. she is a fan of the purses and lipstick and is very demanding with regard to her clothes...especially shoes.

after many, many months of answering..."is the merry-go-round open?" or "can we go on the train?", we were finally able to ride the zoo rides again (and again and again and again):

Syd has become quite the slave to the fashion scene - clipping magazine articles, making collages, and spending hours at the store with mama. So now when we go hiking, what does she insist on bringing...

april...Nathan turns the big 3!!!

it was a joyous time in April as Nathan finally turned 3! We had a big celebration for him (actually multiple times throughout the month as many visitors came throughout). Syd was happy to help Nathan eat his cake:
